The 38th Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) will be held from October 27 (Mon) to November 5 (Wed), 2025.
Please see below for accreditation procedures.

Welcome to the Press Accreditation for the 38th Tokyo International Film Festival. The Press Accreditation grants access to the festival program to assist your coverage of the festival.All press members need to obtain the accreditation in advance of the festival.
Please see the following information for the application.

Application Deadline
The final deadline for the accreditation is 23:59 on October 10 (Fri), 2025.

Press Pass Type
The access you will gain differs depending on the type of Press Pass.

Journalists , TV/Radio directors and producers are to select [Press Pass A]. Access for each pass is shown in the list below.

◇ TV crews accompanied by a director/producer will be issued the [Crew Pass] upon check in on the day of the event you wish to cover.
◇ Photographers and technical crew members who are covering the event independently should obtain a Press Pass B.
◇ Please avoid using a shared email address (such as info@) as an individual e-mail address is required for personal verification for Press Pass.
◇ Press members who are applying for Press Pass A are required to submit their coverage about TIFF or entertainment-related topics from the past one year.
◇ If you wish to have access to press releases and other information in the English language, make sure to select "English" from webpage language preferences, and use the English form to apply and register.
◇ If you are accredited for Press Pass A, please submit your coverage of the 38th TIFF after the event to make the accreditation process easier for the next year.

Select from "Press Pass A" or "Press Pass B"

1. A URL or scanned document of your byline coverage of another film festival or a film-related topic, published in the media you are assigned within the past year.

2. For First-time Attendee only: an official letter signed by the editor-in-chief or director of the media you are assigned, indicating the name and role of the person to cover the Festival. 　*Written in English or Japanese only.

You can login to “My Page” after completion of registration. In My Page, you can check your accreditation status, press pass pickup information, etc.

*There have been cases of unauthorized sharing of Press Passes and false identity registrations in recent years. These behaviors will lead to having your Press Pass confiscated and future applications declined.
