Japan National Societal Contents Association (JNSCA) is sponsoring Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) ,following last year’s support. JNSCA works to promote cultural and economic exchange between respective regions across Japan and the rest of the world by sharing attractive content from the regions, both within the country and internationally, helping to revitalize regional culture and economy and reduce regional disparities. To encourage sharing of more attractive content from across Japan, JNSCA organizes Japan National Societal Contents Award every year with support from various government agencies and other organizations and with participation of local governments nationwide. Movies are a great way to share local culture, products and tourism resources globally, helping to promote international exchange between people, cultures and economies. Through its support of TIFF, JNSCA aims to help spread content and foster international exchange.
Tokyo Midtown Hibiya, operated by MITSUI FUDOSAN Co., Ltd, has been holding the HIBIYA CINEMA FESTIVAL since 2018 as a unique event that allows various new ways to enjoy movies based on the concept “Experience the world of Cinema, starting from Hibiya.”
This festival offers audiences to enjoy films, usually watched in quiet spaces, in the outdoor movie screenings in the heart of Tokyo.
The theme of 2025 is “Nagara Cinema” (Cinema While Doing Something Else). This film festival offers a unique experience where you don’t just watch movies, but also enjoy them while singing, dancing, and savoring.
Admission to the venues is free. We hope everyone will enjoy this unique cinema experience for 17 days at Tokyo Midtown Hibiya.

The Imperial Hotel has long been part of Japan’s domestic and international entertainment culture.
Completed in 1923, the Wright Imperial’s entertainment spaces have frequently hosted numerous performances and cinema screenings. In summer, foreign movie masterpieces were screened outdoors at its rooftop restaurant.
The hotel is now promoting Japanese culture through dinner shows by performers from the Gion district and Geisha from Shimbashi, who perform together.
