Taiwan’s prestigious film awards, the 62nd Golden Horse Awards, were held on November 22 at the Taipei Music Center.
Mother Bhumi (38th TIFF, Competition section) directed by Chong Keat Aun, won in three categories: Best Leading Actress (Fan Bingbing), Best Cinematography (Leung Ming-kai), and Best Original Film Song.
 
The Waves Will Carry Us (38th TIFF, World Focus section, Taiwan Cinema Renaissance 2025 ~Diversity in Taiwanese Society) directed by Lau Kek-huat, received the Best Supporting Actress award (Vera Chen.)
 
The award for Best Narrative Feature went to A Foggy Tale, directed by Chen Yu-hsun.
